What a wonder 6 weeks, full of laughs with a great 'teacher' and a lovely group of 8 likeminded 'potters'. I'd never worked with clay previously and it was so enjoyable learning how to make something on the wheel as well as other techniques. I look forward to continuing with more advanced classes once they become available. Thanks to all involved at RG, I'd totally recommend giving pottery a go to anyone of all ages - no experience necessary !!
Classes were amazing , great location too
I enjoyed the opportunity to work with clay for the first time, I recommend the 6 week course because there was ample time to experience hand building, the wheel, moulding, sculpture and finally painting. I now want to do it again with the knowledge that I have gained.
I also welcomed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere that was provided in the workshop.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 6 week pottery workshop! We learnt so much, from hand building to wheel throwing, how to clean up the pieces, and finally painting them and glazing. You have freedom to make what you want, and help from the teacher of course. I met some lovely ladies during the course and it was genuinely something I looked forward to every week. Great to zone out and make things with your hands. It's a great feeling to drink your coffee out of a cup you made out of a lump of clay :)
