Nancy Eatery

There’s a new gal in town

Nancy Eatery has recently opened, and is located on our premises. So, if you are looking for an absolutely cracking day out, shopping for pottery, AND a beautiful meal, head to ours. The sun is shining, the pots are sparkly and the drinks are flowing. We feel good again!

Owners Omar and Josh met 20 years ago whilst overseas travelling & working in the hospitality industry. Omar is from California, with Mexican heritage, and Josh is originally from Hobart, Tas. They moved to the Dandenong Ranges 10 years ago – and fell in love with the area. They opened up Lorna Café in Ferntree Gully 3 years ago, which has seen an overwhelming response with locals and visitors to the area.

Lorna Cafe is named after Josh's grandmother, and her homemade crumpet recipe is always a staple on their menu. The property has been warmly embraced by the outer suburbs - both by locals and visitors to the Dandenong Ranges. Lorna has a Scandi fit-out paired with a modern Australian menu and serving up Industry Beans coffee. Continually rated within the top cafes in the South East suburbs.

Josh & Omar opened the doors to Maria Cafe in September 2019. Maria is named after Omar’s grandmother, and has a stronger South America/Mexican influence (due to his Mexican heritage). The café has a standout coffee menu  using Industry Beans with a wide rotating selection of single origins - and a kicker cold brew! The property has a very chic interior design, using Tasmanian timbers, and Terrazzo finishes throughout, not to mention the lush greenery.

Their third cafe opened in November 2020, Nancy Eatery - located in our retail factory outlet in Pakenham. Nancy is the namesake of Josh's other Grandmother, who had an infinity with home cooking & pottery - so it is a match made in heaven. The menu takes elements of Nancy's love of cooking, mixed with a modern twist.
